Fall

The fall leaves were absolutely spectacular when I drove out of town recently!  It's too bad I have a funky twist on a fall mani to share today versus more traditional colours but I thought I'd change it up a bit!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Boho-A-Go-Go, no top coat.

Topped with Paint it Pretty Polish Water Gun Fun (PPU June 2022).

Topped with Holo Taco Flakie Holo Taco, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from What's Up Nails B033 with accent nail of Maniology M022 using Painted Polish Stamped in Taro, Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Moyra SP19.  ('Fall' didn't gradient very well and was too white so I hand painted in some colour but not very well; it's kinda obvious lol.)

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

These were a little busier than I wanted (even for me lol); I think they could have done without to holo taco flakies but when I added them, I thought it needed a little extra.  But not the worst nails I've ever did lol!

Fall Leaves!

I bet about now, you're glad this isn't a floral mani, right?  I was glad to share so many of them but it is time to move away for florals for a while, although some might show up here and there occasionally until I get the urge to share a bunch again.  But here's a fall leaf mani now!

Started with a base of Pretty Serious Type 40, one coat, no topcoat.  Yes, that is right, ONE coat!

Topped with Cadillacquer Blue Poppy, two coats, no topcoat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from Maniology m022 using MdU 9, 11, 66 and 80.

Topped with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Fall!

This fall mani has a lot going on which is pretty typical of the nails I do!  I love it though!  The weather has taken a little bit of a dip lately and which means some of the leaves that are still on the trees...and there are a lot in some areas; maples have barely started to turn in my area...will probably start to fall!  Soon we will transition into the next season with that white stuff!

Started with a base of Moon Shine Mani Work Your Magic Buddy and Yum As You Are.  I actually have the inspiration polish but was afraid of using it up so bought this 'Project Dupe' polish and am glad that it is in my collection as really loving it for a fall shade.

Stamped using Maniology M022 (ring), UC Lovely Leaves 01 (thumb), Lina 4 Seasons Autumn 03 (middle), Maniology M164 (pinky and index) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and MdU 9, 13, 22, 66 and 106.

I didn't mind the mani but decided it needed a little bit more so added leaves using MoYou Fall in Love 09, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Fall is in the Air!

This was the first fall mani that I did on my nails this year and for some reason, it's one of the last fall mani's I'm sharing this fall.

Started with a base of skittles; China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, Essie You Know the Espadrille, Essie Kaf-tan, Color Club Je Nas Sais Quoi, and OPI Have Your Panettone and Eat It Too.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lantern & Wren Say, It's Fall (ring and pumpkins on middle), Maniology m022 (pinky and index), Creative Shop 25S (thumb) and Clear Jelly Stamper CjS LS-57 (flower on middle and accents) using MdU 9, 59, 66, 106 and 107 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Fall Is In The Air!

Fall is in the air!  It's suppose to be cooler temperatures next week and I'm sure the leaves are going to be at their peak and then falling any day now!  I'll take it any day over the white stuff falling!

Started with a base of two coats of Picture Polish Korma, no top coat.

Stamped using Manioloy m022 with accent nail of MoYou Fall in Love 04 using MdU 9, 66, 106, 107 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

First of the Fall Mani's!

Somehow, I missed that yesterday was the official start of fall so I'm a little behind in sharing this mani.  It has a lot going on; double stamping, shadow stamping, painted by hand and extra dots and busy; you know I like those busy nails and this is no exception!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Essie Check Your Baggage, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Using MdU 9, 46, 66 and 107, stamped images from UC Lovely Leaves (thumb), Maniology M022 (middle) and UC Lovely Leaves 02 (index, ring and pinky).

Using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, did layered stamping using same images on the ring, middle and pinky and shadow stamped on the ring.  Added more leaves using same MdU polishes and PP Midnight Mishief on the thumb, as well as hand painted some lines in the trunk on the thumb.  Also, the ash (I think they are ash) leaves on the index and ring were big blobs of black from the second stamping on them, so I used the same polishes to give them some colour, then hand painted in some leaf veins.  Finally, added a few black dots on all fingers just to tie everything together.

I did a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish but the polish smear was soooo bad, I cringed looking at the pix and couldn't force myself to share.  But this looks cool; as if they have a coat of matte top coat on them.

More Fall Nails!

While I love the traditional fall nails, I wanted to wear something not so fall nails like, but still share fall nails kinda colours.  I think this fit the bill!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of Girly Bits Sea You Next Fall.  One provided coverage but I'm used to doing two, so that's what I did.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using What's Up Nails B033 on all nails except ring, which is Maniology M022 using MdU 59, 106 and 107.

Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
