Daisies!

Another variation of my favourite nail design with daisies!  All the daisies on my nails!  The great thing is that there are so many stamping plates that have daisies that with some different polishes and different stamping plates, you can change up the look and create something different than the last time.  I should create a new label of daisies, as I have so many daisy nails!  Anyway, here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Color Club Spell It Out with accent nails of Morgan Taylor Take Me To Your Tribe, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

KADS Ocean 017

Stamped lines using KADS Ocean 017 using MdU 91.

Stamped daisies with image from CjS V-37 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Added dots using BKind B-a-n-a-n-a-s.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Failed Shadow Stamping

I did these nails on September 24, 2019.  I can't recall if shadow stamping was a thing then or not but if it was and I was trying it out, it clearly didn't work out here!  So many fails in these nails but they are kinda cool in their own way so thought I'd share now!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a gradient base of Color Club East Austin and Youthquake, no top coat, with East Austin as the full base.  

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using an image from UberChic Of Art Magic using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Midnight Mischief.  I'm not sure if I was shadow stamping, or just wanted something more obvious for the stamped image.

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.  This is obviously before my use of Apipila No Smear Top coat....or maybe it wasn't even out then.  Quite possible.  This was in the float your topcoat to not smear your stamping days and even though I always waited a bit before applying topcoat, sometimes like shown here, it wasn't long enough or too heavy of a hand was used.  Thank goodness, no smear top coats are available now!  Although, looking at these nails, it might have been cool if the smear was all through the nail on all nails as it kinda gives it a web look!

Purple Skittles

One of my favourite nail things to do is to put a topper or layer polishes and this is a good example why as it really elevates some creme polishes.  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of purple skittles; polishes used are Color Club Lily in Paris (thumb), Morgan Taylor Powers of Persuasion (pinky and index) and Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Knowledge is Flower (middle and ring).  Two coats, no top coat.

Topped with Polished for Days Rainbow of Imagination.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!💜

Started with a base of Color Club Lily in Paris with accent nails of Morgan Taylor Powers of Persuasion.

Topped accent nails with Pahlish The Archer.

Decided to sponge it on the thumb as well.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Made stamper decals using image from BM-XL355, using Painted Polish Blanc slate, then filled in with Color Club Lily in Paris and applied them on the ring and pinky; however, I had them under a nail dryer, I think a little too long so they dried out pretty badly so cracked badly when placed on the nail, so I had to do some filling with polish and brush.  Middle finger is image stamper decal from Hit the Bottle To Love Or Not To Love 02, using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, then filled in with Color Club Lily in Paris as well, then applied to the nail.  Ring is stamped using image from MoYou Festive 20 using Painted Polish Stamped in Periwinkle.  Lastly, thumb nail is image using BM317 stamped with Painted Polish Stamped in Royalty, then (poor) shadow stamped using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Decided to shadow stamp the ring finger image using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Halloween Gradient

I love a good gradient; I just wasn't as happy how the stamping on this mani looked on this mani but there's always another day!

For the graident, did a base of Color Club Almost Famous, then sponged it, OPI Red and Essence Hello Summer!

Lantern & Wren Haunted Halloween

Stamped using Lina Spooklicious! 02 on middle, ring and index, UberChic UC Halloween-02 on pinky and Lantern & Wren Haunted Halloween on thumb using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Stars!

Hard to believe that I did these nails almost three years ago and they hadn't been shared yet so there is no time like present, as the saying goes!

Started with a base of two coats of Different Dimension Kiss Me Under The Light of a Thousand Stars, no top coat.  This is one of my absolute favourite polishes; it is the perfect back drop for so many different looks for stamping, has holo, sparkle...what else can you ask for! I have several back ups of this which says how much I love it as I don't have many back ups now in my collection.

Stamped using image from Lina Make Your Mark 04 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, then added dots using Color Club Peace out Purple, no top coat.

These simple nails feature a few things I like about doing my nails:  great image that lets the beauty of the base show through; layering polishes for a more interesting look; the sparkle of holo and that colour; wow!
