Fall

Fall is my favourite season.  Usually, it's not too hot, not too cold.  And so much colour with the changing of the leaves.  Fall is also one of my favourite times to do nail art, which you can probably tell by the number of fall manis I share every year. Including this one; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of Wet n Wild Potassium-Rich (thumb), Essie You Know the Espadrille (index), BKind Orange Julep (middle), Essie Bait and Be Bold (ring) and Morgan Taylor Catch Me If You Can (pinky).  

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did a stamped gradient with image from What's Up Nails B044 using MdU 13, 53, 59, 66, 106, 107 and Konad red special polish.

Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Fall Abstract

These are a little out of my comfort zone and although it isn't a style I wear often, I don't mind them.  Not my favourite, but I've done worse.  

Started with a base of three coats of Wildflower Lacquer Drink Like A Fish, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped with image from Lina Make Your Mark 01 using MdU 48, 106 and 107 on all nails for fall colours, then added images on top using Lesly Golden Autumn (middle, thumb and pinky), and Maniology M022 (ring and index) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief. I think in hindsight, I should have did leaves like on the middle and thumb, but hey, there's always next time.  Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Natural light.

Added a coat of matte for a different look and I think this was my favourite.

The good thing about doing something that isn't your style is that with a bit of remover and cotton rounds, you can remove it and start afresh.

Autumn Days

 Autumn days are upon us; the temperatures at night are getting lower and lower and the leaves are turning all around us.  

Started with three coats of Pahlish ? Mystery Polish, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top. 

Did a stamped gradient using MdU 11, 66, 106, 107 and 114 with images from What's Up Nails B033 on all nails except accent, which is MoYou London Fall in Love 09. 

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
