Digit-al Dozen Does Fairytales; Day 1

Welcome to Digit-al Dozen week; this month's theme is Fairytales!

This is The Three Little Pigs, as adapted by me!

Once upon a time, there were three little brother pigs. They decided to venture out into the world on their own. Now, two of the little pigs, they liked to play and dance all day but knew they had to build a house to live in. So they quickly built their houses in the woods. The first little pig, he made his house out of straw.  The second little pig, he built his house out of wood.  Once they were finished, they laughed and played all day!

But the third little piggy, he decided to build a sturdy house, and made it out of bricks.  But this took some time; he wasn't able to laugh and play all day like his two little piggy brothers.

One day, a wicked, hungry wolf came into the woods and seen the first little piggy's house.  The big, bad wolf said, "Let me in, let me in!" The first little piggy responded, "Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin!

So the big bad wolf said, "I'm going to huff, and puff, and blow your house down!".  And he did.

That frightened little piggy quickly ran to his brothers wooden house in the woods.  Shortly after, the wolf came to the second little piggy's house, which now had two of the pigs hiding in fear there! They heard a knock on the door; the wolf said, "Let me in, let me in!"  But the piggy's cried, "Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chins."

So the wolf said, "I'm going to huff and puff and blow your house in!"  So he blew in that piggy's house too.

Terrified, both little piggy's ran quickly to their brothers brick house.  The wolf came upon the house of the third little piggy in the woods.  He knocked on the door and said, "Three little pigs, I know you're in there, let me in!" The three little piggy's cried in unison, "Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chins!!"  So the big, bad wolf said, "I'm going to huff and puff and blow your house in!"

So the wolf huffed, and he puffed....but he could not blow the house in!  The third little pig who didn't laugh and play all day had built a sturdy house..... the wolf could not blow it down!!

The wicked wolf went onto the roof and went down the chimney to try to get to the three little pigs but the three little piggy's outsmarted him; there was a boiling kettle of water waiting for him in the fireplace!  He yelped and jumped out of the pot and ran off into the woods, never to be seen again!

The three little pigs lived happily ever after in the brick house, never to see the big, bad wolf again!

This is the finished mani over time.
