Happy Labour Day!

Happy Labour Day!  It was a long weekend here in Canada and the last long weekend before school starts tomorrow!  I'm home now from being in the Kawartha's for the weekend and my nails are a sampling of what I did this weekend:  did some swimming, had a campfire, watched an awesome fireworks display, played cards and ate lots of barbecued food!  And to top it all off, we had beautiful sunny, warm weather as well!

Started with a base of American Apparel The Valley (blue) with accents of Arcane Lacquer Holo Halo (no pix).  Then sponged Holo Halo with Picture Polish Winter, Barry M Grey and Funky Fingers Dark Knight.

On American Apparel The Valley, I sponged American Apparel Lazuli, American Apparel Crescent Heights, Funky Fingers Gesso and NYC Skyline Blue.

Topped everything off with Girly  Bits What A Rush QD TC.

Made assortment of decals using various plates and acrylic paints.

Applied the stamper decals.  The images are from Chez Delaney Marin 001 (sun on index), ZZ Games (cards on pinky), Wistonia Summer Cookout (BBQ on ring), BP-L017 (bikini on index), Lilic's A09 (campfire on middle) and Chez Fete 001 (fireworks on thumb).

Painted hot dogs on using MdU 51, then stamped on Labour Day onto thumb using CNF 002 with Fig Tree Stamps.

Using the same image from Lilic's A09, individually stamped on the stars on the middle (that would be 9 times!) using MdU 11, as well as added a few other stars on the rest of the nails as accent.

Topped with Girly Bits What A Rush QD TC to finish.

Decided to top with Girly Bits Polish Matte'rs so you can see design a little better (hopefully!)

It was a great long weekend; hopefully you had a great weekend too; thanks for looking!
