Good morning! There's the promise of a warm fall day today and to top it off, it's a long weekend....long Thanksgiving weekend, here in Canada....so it's extra sweet! I have some errands to prep for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and not much else besides that...well, except make Thanksgiving dinner! It will be sad not to be having dinner with my entire family but this year, it will only be those who live at home. Hopefully everyone else does their part to lessen those numbers and to stop the spread of the virus.
While I've been loving the more traditional fall bases, I thought I'd try something a little different; maybe not as traditional looking for fall. So I switched things up a bit; here's what I came up with!
Started with a base of two coats of Butter London Glouchester Crescent, no top coat.
Topped with KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
Stamped using image from Lina 4 Seasons-Autumn 03 using MdU 9, 11, 53, 66, 80 and 106.
This was a layered image so added veins with same image using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.
Finished with a final coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top. I had a bit of image smear; not sure why (but looks like brush drag) but it was unfortunate as lessened how they turned out. But what can you do.
Enjoy the weekend!
Those leaves look fab on the grey base :-D
