Rock in Peace, Ozzy!

We lost a true music legend last week so when I sat down to do my nails this week for Music Mani Monday, I knew it had to be Ozzy related in some capacity.  This is what I came up with!

One of my favourite Ozzy songs is Bark at the Moon so I used this picture for inspiration.

Did a stamper smoosh base using Crystal Polish Go Frost Yourself, Glisten & Glow Lake Breeze Puts Me At Ease, Cameo Colors My Eyes Are Up Here, Painted Polish Stamped in Slate, Olive Ave Polish Motn, and Femme Fatale Hecate.

The line up!  Excuse the messy work station!

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Did a stamper decal with image from Candy Skull R-004 and applied it to the ring finger using Polished for Days Briar Rose for skintone; then did a stamped layered moon on the thumb with image from MoYou London E.T. Collection-02 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Stamped in Slate.

Shadow stamped words on middle using image from Manitude x Rock Your World using MdU 11 and 13, clouds and moon on index from Nail Matinee NM15 using Painted Polish Stamped in Slate and Painted Polish Blanc Slate, added tombstone from Marianne Nails n117 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, then individually stamped letters on it from Manitude Basics X Alphabet, image from Chez Delaney Musique 001 on pinky (shrunken) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, and SugarBubbles SB064 on thumb (again, shrunken as it is mammoth on my small nails!).  I have to say that the image placement on the thumb is just as good as it can get!  A clear stamper doesn't mean an image is still going to go where you intend it...at least not when I apply it.

Added random sizes of bats on all nails from PY-F031 as well as star on ring finger MoYou London Halloween 001 using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  I don't think I need to explain why I used the bats with this Ozzy mani....!

Topped with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.

Ozzy and Black Sabbath paved the way for so many other heavy metal bands and we owe them a debt of gratitude for this musical contribution.   Metal isn't my favourite genre of music but there are some tunes that I really like especially some of the mainstream hits.  I was so glad that there was a final hurrah on July 5th while Ozzy was able to be there including his family.

Rock in peace, Ozzy.
