From the Archives

I suffered a pretty nasty nail injury recently on my swatching hand, so I haven't been doing my nails for the last week or so....and probably won't be until the nail grows out, which will likely be a month or more.  It was a low break, well into the bed so it has a bit of growing to do.  It's just at the point that it doesn't hurt anymore, IYKYK.  I'm still painting the rest of my nails but they aren't shareable as the injury is on my index nail, not like it is on my thumb and I can share the other four fingers.  But thankfully, I have lots of manis in the archives to share.  My issue is that most of them are blue, or daisies (or some type of floral nails), so the pickings are slim what I can share.  Luckily, it's spring, so floral nails are on point, but the nails are very similar, so not great to share for blogging.  It's what I like to put on my nails, which is why I have so many of them and when I'm doing my nails 5 days a week or whatever, I do enough other styles and colours that I can sprinkle in other styles and colours, but not now.  Although I do have quite a few snowflake mani's that I haven't shared, but not sure anyone wants to see snowflake nails in April, or May!  It's like seeing Halloween nails in March (which I do see, no shade to those who do them, it's just not my style).  Anyway, be prepared to see lots of blue, or daisy nails and I'll try to sprinkle in a few others in between until this nail grows out.

Started with a base of Nina Ultra Pro Punki Pink, three coats, no top coat.  This isn't a very good example of this polish; my camera freaked out a bit from the brightness and it shows much more muted than it really is  The stamped nails are more accurate and you can see how much more vibrant it is.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Moyra 114 The Brightest Light

Stamped using image from Moyra 114 The Brightest Light using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief, no top coat.

Topped to finish with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

I did these nails in July, 2019; how time has flied.  I wish my nails still looked like this; amazing what time can do to the body and how much we change as we age!

Thanks for looking!
