WingDustCollections Perfect Day

There's enough blue in WingDust Perfect Day to qualify to post in April blue posts in support of Autism Awareness month and regardless, it's my blog and I can do what I want anyway!  WingDust Perfect Day is one of the most interesting and complex polishes that I have wore in a long, long time!  I'm not sure I did the polish justice with my stamping though; maybe slightly too busy for a lot of tastes but I loved how it turned out! Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of WingDustCollections Perfect Day with accents of Quo by Orly April Showers.  It's interesting that April Showers shows blue in some pix and grey in others but regardless of which way it leans, I think a good accent to WingDust Perfect Day.

Look at everything going on in WingDustPerfect Day!  There's stars, different colours and sizes of glitter, pink shimmer, gold flakes; everything but the kitchen sink is here!  

Stamped using Mundo de Unas #1 with images from DRK-Mystic Ocean.  The stamping hides a bit more of the glitter than I would have liked but I really wanted the bubbles to go along with the fish.

Colors by llarowe Young Turks

Continuing with blue posts in support of Autism Awareness month in April, this is probably my favourite blue holo; Colors by llarowe Young Turks.  I know if I ever did a top 20 list, Cbl Young Turks would make the list for sure!

Started with a base of two coats of Cbl Young Turks, no top coat. This is probably the most holo-riffic blue polish in my stash (well, either that, or I own one and haven't used it yet!)

Stamped using white Konad stamping polish using LilyAnna 03.

Top coated to finish.

I adore this polish so much; it is easily my favourite Colors by llarowe polish and one of the few polishes in recent memory that I have a back up.

El Corazon Pebbles On The Sea

I remember when I first seen the speckled El Corazon polishes (from the New Dalmatians line); it was instant love!  To me, they make an interesting base for stamping. I remember they were out of stock at Hypnotic Polish for a time but got the in stock notification the morning I was meeting up with a bunch of other nail fanatics to go to Girly Bits headquarters; I was late setting out for the drive because I had to quickly order them that morning before they were out of stock!  Funny thing is it took me almost a year to eventually wear one of them; but I did not too long ago; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of El Corazon 423/87 Pebbles On the Sea, no topcoat.  

Added coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Lesly LS-112 using Mundo de Unas #2.  This stamping plate was another lemming; I wanted it so badly when I had seen a mani with it but when I checked the Hypnotic Polish site, it too was out of stock. However, scooped it up at Hypnotic Polish not too long ago at a recent restock.

Happy Easter!

I've always wanted to do an Easter mani using Easter lilies and when I sat down last night to do Easter nails, I decided that it would finally be the day!  Here's what I came up with!

Initially, I was going to do my usual stamping on all fingers, but thought I would do something more simple for these nails.  As knew that for the lilies, I would have dark green and yellow as part of the accent nail, so when I was looking for glitter polishes, wanted something with both yellow and green and Girly Bits Erin Go Braugh-less fit the bill!  This is two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls with one coat of Girly Bits Erin Go Braugh-less on top of one coat of Essence 159 The Green and the Grunge, topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped middle finger using an image from MoYou Pro 11 using Funky Fingers Dark Night and Mundo de Unas X.  Ring finger is using MoYou Festive Collection 14 using Mundo de Unas 11 and 7.  Added a couple butterflies from Infinity 54.  Added few more green leaves by brush on the lily and dots in centre of lilies.

This isn't MoYou Pro 11; it is MoYou Pro 7 which I intended to use to get all three lilies on the nail; but unfortunately, the lilies didn't stamp that well so had to use the larger image instead.

This is the image I really wanted to use which is a Pet'la plate.  This is my testing out the image sizes to see if I could get it somehow to fit on my nails.

Easter Nails

When I sat down to do my nails last night, I thought I hadn't done many Easter nails, so decided to do one; this is what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls; topped with two coats of KBShimmer on top (no pix).  Stamped using images from Infinity 54 (thumb) and Infinity 35 (middle), then top coated again in prep for lead lighting.



Used assortment of 10.1 Polish jellies for lead lighting, except the palette which is a Zoya.

Added assortment of images from Messy Mansion MM08 (peep on ring), Nailways Spring Time Easter Bunny (bunny on index), MoYou Festive Collection-14 (ring), MoYou Festive Collection-09 (pinky) and Infinity 76 (Easter wording on ring).  Used assortment of Mundo de Unas stamping polishes.



Added dots, dots and more dots for filler and interest then top coated to finish with KBShimmer Clearly ton top.

World Autism Awaress Day Mani!

April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day; these are the nails I did for it!

Started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all fingers except accent, which is one coat of p2 Gigantic topped with one coat of Different Dimension Da Ba Dee (blue) topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using assortment of images from MoYou Games Collection-05 using Mundo de Unas polishes.

I did my right hand slightly different; same images but basic white stamping.

I will be posting a lot of blue mani's during the month of April in support of Autism Awareness month.  But it won't all be blue because there's still Digit-al Dozen challenge week and Earth Day mani's to post too!
