Happy New Year's Eve!

Happy New Year's Eve!  I wish I could say I was doing something more exciting for New Year's but I'm  staying in tonight, watching a little tv, doing some blog posts and then ringing in the new year with watching some channel on tv.  I hope whatever you are doing, that you have a great one and all the best in 2022!

I wanted something blingy so put on two coats of Autumn's Palette plus a little extra on the tips, no top coat.

Snowflakes...Again

This was one of my favourite snowflake mani's that I did this year.  Sometimes the best mani's are the simpliest!  Here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of The Brightest Witch, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using Creative Shop 101 using Painted Polish Deux 2.0 then topped with snowflakes from Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 01 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas is over; hopefully you had a good holiday if you were celebrating!  These were the nails that I was wearing Christmas and Boxing Day.

Started with a base of three coats of Painted Polish By Golly, Be Jolly, no top coat.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Stamped using image from UberChic Merry  Bright on all nails using Konad Green and MdU 9.  The words on the thumb are MoYou London Noel 13.

Winter Vibes!

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is pretty much over; we stayed pretty close to home most of it, just staying in and watching movies mainly.  It is nice to have a few days off to just relax and enjoy the season.  Hopefully you will enjoy these winter vibe nails.

Clear Jelly Stamper CjS-180

Stamped using images from CjS-180 and Lina 4 Seasons-Winter 02 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate, Deux 2.0 and Stamped in Cinderelly.

I have to say, I was so looking forward to getting this CjS plate as I missed out on it being in stock a few times but was able to recently snag it at a restock at Lantern & Wren.  But it was not user friendly.  Didn't matter if I scraped the plate lightly, harder, used one stamping polish or another, used a hard stamper, a squishy one, stamped lightly, stamped hard...it is just a finicky plate.  Enough that it really deterred me from wanting to use any Clear Jelly Stamping plates in a while.  I'm seriously thinking of destashing them.  Who needs finicky in stamping nowadays?  There's enough quality plates out that that there is no need to hold onto finicky ones.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!

Tonight's the night; Santa Claus is coming to town!!

Started with a sponged gradient base of KBShimmer I'd Rather Be With Blue, Glisten & Glow Mini Golf and Margaritas and Sally Hansen Dark Hue-mar.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top

I made stamper decals using Delaney Noel A003 and applied them at the tips.  Then stamped stars using Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit using image from UberChic It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.

Added moon using Creative Shop 150 using Painted Polish Blanc Slate and Stamped in Slate.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Added images from Delaney A002 (Santa) and MdU Navidad 3 (reindeer) using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

I thought I was finished but wasn't; the thumb looked too bare to me.  So added image from Dixie Christmas 2019, shadow stamping using Painted Polish Stamped in Starfruit and Midnight Mischief.

Another Christmas Mani!

I thought these layered stamped nails would be a quick mani but of course, they weren't. But I think they were worth the time they took to do; here's what I came up with!

Started with base polishes of Sally Hansen Haute Springs, OPI Christmas Gone Plaid and Potion Polish Holiday Baking, no top coat.

Did a bunch of layered stamps; plates used were UberChic Holiday Jingle (middle, pinky), UberChic Merry & Bright (ring), MoYou London Noel 05 (thumb) and CjS C-34 (index) using MdU 7, 11, Konad greet, Painted Polish Stamped in Chai, Stamped in Starfruit, Stamped in Crimson and Midnight Mischief.  Some of the images I had to double stamp to get them to show up (ie. middle finger and index) and I did add a few dots to make up for some stamping (on index, thumb, ring and middle).  I also added some KBShimmer White Here, White Now on the index finger for some textured interest).

Merry Grinchmas!

Merry Grinchmas!  I watched The Grinch Who Stole Christmas not too long ago and decided to do Grinch nails a couple nights later.  Here's what I came up with!

For the base, did a sponged gradient using Revlon Bright Side, OPI I'm Sooo Swamped and OPI Envy the Adventure.

Topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Made a few stamper decals and then applied them.  Used MdU Grinch on ring and middle, MdU Dr. Suess on pinky and SugarBubbles SBS 08 on thumb and index.  Not all images are stamper decals; on the middle and did some shadow stamping, except on the pinky, I also filled in the eyes on the image before shadow stamping it.

I had filled in the words on the ornament on the index finger and then shadow stamped the Grinch face on it using an image from MdU Grinch, then topped with KBShimmer Clearly on Top to finish.
