Digit-al Dozen Does Countries and Cultures; Day 2

For Day 2 of Digit-al Dozen Countries and Culture week, I chose India; here's what I came up with!

Started with a base of two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (no pix as shown before).  I then sponged on the flag of India using CND Electric Orange and CND Green Scene.

(Sorry for sharing but I think these pre-clean up pix are cool!)  Here's the pix after cleanup.  I actually really like the look of this and thought if I messed up too badly on the stamping, I would just show this as the finished mani for the India flag look!

While I could have easily stamped on top of this, I thought it might be difficult to stamp the images in exactly the middle of the flag which is what I was trying to do.  So I decided to topcoat using KBShimmer Clearly on top in case I didn't to remove a mis-stamping, which would save the base polishes so wouldn't have to redo (and good think I did because I had to stamp the pinky twice!).

Stamped with (what I hope are) images representative of India.  Used black FUN special polish and images from MoYou Tourist Collection-20 (thumb), MoYou Explorer Collection-21 (index and middle), JR-6 (ring) and BFF 15 (pinky).

  2. Wow, great mani. You amaze me with the new and fresh designs you keep coming up with. This is beautiful. I am not Indian but to me this definitely seems to represent what I know about India.

  3. Lovely manicure! Your flag design is pretty cool on its own, but I like it even better with the stamping on top!
