Vacation Nails-Part Five!

Here's another mani based upon pix I took while I was holidays. Used fauxnad Big SdP F plate; stamped polish is Konad black special polish.

My inspiration being a couple pix I took while I was away.

Here's mani in progress....started with base of yellow.

Added two coats of OPI That's All Bright With Me.

Then added two coats of OPI Goldilocks Rocks.

Lastly, two coats of OPI Crimson Carol on tips.

In hindsight, after seeing SarahLouise's nails in this post over at Spellbinding Nails a few days after I removed this mani, I wished I had have tried sponging the gradient look so as not to have such an obvious line between colours...another time, I'll have to try it out!

Thx for looking!

  6. That looks amazing! I wouldn't worry about the non-sponging, you can't really see the lines under the 'nad anyways.

  7. These are beautiful! Definitely my favorite of your vacation manis. In the progress pictures I can see that the background colors stop and start, but with the pattern over them, it looks like a more gradual shift.
